Found in the year 1558 by Udai Singh II of the Sisodia clan of Rajputs, Udaipur was the historic capital of the kingdom of the Mewar Dynasty which later got entitled as the “ City of Lakes “ or “ Venice of East “ because of being surrounded by varied lakes and water reservoirs. The city is also surrounded by the Aravali Ranges which geographically separates it from The Thar Desert - the city exhibits history, royal architecture, palaces, temples, lakes, gardens, art, traditions, culture, food, lifestyle and luxury hotels.
